About Glad

Picture
Pastor Glad is from North Syracuse, New York. She met and married Ed in 1973, and through his encouragement and mentoring, became a minister in 1998. Glad was the director of "Sing Out St. Charles", sang in a folk group called "the Noisy Minority", and taught CPR for the American Red Cross in Massachusetts and Ohio. She was also a firefighter and EMT on the West Boxford Fire Department in Massachusetts.
She is a retired minister who takes great pleasure working with wedding couples and helping them create a ceremony that reflects their personalities, stories and traditions.  It’s always been Pastor Glad's belief that the ceremony belongs to the bride and groom; not to the minister, and she encourages them to participate in customizing such an important invent in their lives. Her goal is to present a relaxed, meaningful and unique ceremony which will be a lovely memory for the wedding couple as well as family and friends who have come to share in their celebration.
She has a lot of patience, a terrific sense of humor, she's romantic and compassionate with over 20 years’ experience in the wedding industry.  Her library contains many ceremonies to offer as a guideline, plus mini-ceremonies that can be included within your ceremony.  Pastor Glad is professional, experienced and always remembers what a privilege it is to work with couples and officiate their wedding ceremony.
