Pastor Glad is from North Syracuse, New York. She met and married Ed in 1973, and through his encouragement and mentoring, became a minister in 1998. Glad was the director of "Sing Out St. Charles", sang in a folk group called "the Noisy Minority", and taught CPR for the American Red Cross in Massachusetts and Ohio. She was also a firefighter and EMT on the West Boxford Fire Department in Massachusetts. Glad was raised very similar to Ed, and together they make a dynamic couple. Now that they are both retired, it gives them time to perform weddings and baptisms all around the northern Michigan area.
